How thrifty can you be with words?
How crafty can you be while manipulating words?
Lets see it.

*Write and post your poem here as a comment.
*Some will be SELECTED, EDITED and FEATURED next week.

On her apron strings so many practice their artistry
Even, of helm of his garment, words fervently ferment
Political, spiritual, emotional, even radical laments
In her lounge, we display our poetic bravery.

What a blameless story KIS is writing
Despite limitations, he vibrates our artistic tantabulations
Like the swaying of the bell, we, our stories tell
    And ills seem erasing deep.

And very soon, we will do it written and “spoken”
With unity unbroken, WRR our incurable ‘token’.

    Africa! My Africa!!
How sweet it is to be mother by thou.
I will cherish thou till thy kingdom come.

I am a black man with a good black soul.
Black is good and good is black.
Africa is black and black is good.
    Africa is good!
