Read Time:1 Minute, 3 Second
Waking up to I love you renews the butterflies in my belly, and when I say I love you too, the morning feels like it understands. While I still enjoy the remnant of your scent from yesterday, your words arrive again, fresh as first light on my window. It’s strange how three words can fill a whole room, how they settle on my chest like a soft reminder of belonging. This is the breakfast before a breakfast— waking up to I love you tastes better than the first sip of this miyan kukah here; it is the dessert, the meal, and the lingering aftertaste. And so, let this be a beautiful, good morning to you, let it renew the butterflies in your belly, let it taste better than your fish sauce— the day is filled with splendour, and so are you.
