The Note MI
The Note MI

The note mi
Brought out the song in me:
A song of freedom
For the sons of the kingdom
Who live as slaves in their territory,
And as refugees in their country!

The note mi
Brought out the song in me:
A song of warning
For the leader who is ruling,
Who promised to make us better
But is making us bitter.

The note mi
Brought out the song in me:
A song for when we shall get hold of the sword
And face the killers of our world.
We know our destiny is in our hand
And we shall take our stand…

In realization of reality
But without brutality!

“No more”, we say to oppression
And corruption!
“No more” we say to bad leaders
And thieving rulers!
“No more” we say to suffering
And crying!

This is my song for change
For every man living in this age.
