I wonder if someone
Will sing my unwritten ballad.
Write me an elegy
And cook me a song!
I do wonder
If my carvings
On History sands
Won’t be washed away
By the waves of Future tide!
Don’t you wonder too?
Why Life and Death
Are two engraved sides
Of a priceless coin?
And one can’t have Life
Without Death’s permission?
Do you not also tire?
Of hoping each dawn
And have it stolen
By hopelessness on silverware?
I tire
I really do.
So let creation
Pay me my earthly wages
That I may spend it in eternity
I’ve had enough…
