When A Time Comes For Me To Write
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [When A Time Comes For Me To Write]
When that time comes for me to write
I’ll write that piece that appeals my heart
And never, I’ll not listen to them
Or pay attention to self-made gods
Literary high priests
With their reams and kilobytes
Prescribing and pontificating
Telling us what to write
And even how to write it

When that times comes for me to write
And I’m sure it will
I will rather write on anything I please
Ensuring it is the best I could fix
And when it springs from within
Whether others see it as relevant stereotypical, or whatever
Will not be my headache

When that time comes for me to write
I will have written my best
And that alone will suffice for me
I’ll make sure I didn’t fail my bide
I would ink out my raw self
And prove my worth with only
What I could produce
