This Shame Is On You
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [This Shame Is On You]
I have finally decided you are vain
Now, I’ll pen down my pain
I don’t care if you see this as a story
Be sure you will be consumed by this fury

Loneliness raped my soul
Emptiness screwed me each passing second
I desired a panacea, like a lonely star
I exuded a dim sparkle hoping you’ll spot me

I stood with arched back in an endless wait
Shame, I waited for you
I wanted to be happy again
Was that too much to desire?
Then you came, with sweet innocence
And struck with the swiftness of a viper

I detest your lies, you are cunny
Even when they think you smartly funny
Just wait, I will tear your dresses in rags
And you will feel the killer taste as you do your drags

Don’t be weary just yet, oh don’t be
For I will make you enjoy the agony
Each biting pain will delight you
Until you see my sparkling eyes shining with killer fury
Until I make you smell this sweet smelling shame.

    Ndubuisi, since you left
Our eyeballs have fallen off their sockets…
Since you chose to reside in the
    White man’s land
    Our moon has turned pale
    Rocks fall from the skies
While the rain has refused to
    Depart the blue cloud
