Rastaman
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Rastaman]
He says Jah Rastafari is all he’ll ever need
With a good taste for ganja and weed

Then he’ll feel ‘aerie’ down in his soul
And drag till marijuana takes control

He dresses in his garment of red, yellow and green
And abstains from pork and red meat for they’re unclean

He says weed helps upgrade his senses
But might eventually mix up his tenses

To be a follower of Jah Rastafari
You should have on your head than you can carry

You’re meant to grow your hair into dreadlocks
Until it’s longer than a goalkeeper’s socks

Rastaman doesn’t seek for attention
All he needs is Jah’s love and affection

He refrains from hatred of any kind
And must possess love for all mankind

He has to keep himself from criticisms
Or any form of isms or schisms

For anyone can become a temple for Jah’s glorious essence
As long as he has proved himself worth in his presence
