Nuit
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Nuit]
The middle of the night
When life’s greatest works are achieved,
Flooding this space is the moon’s light
Aiding to beget words long archived.

Not much if you ask me
But then, will you?
A long-lost returnee
Whose felt-tips lack the new.

Just a flicker awakens hope
And puts these rusty fingers to work,
So I won’t just mope
I will this ink uncork.

I’ll tell a story
Maybe true. Maybe not.
But who am I to unleash earth’s fury
When I’m not a woman scorned.

Warm and loving
Tendency to be made a sucker,
Persistent and wanting
A perfect life, the Taurus says about her.

But is there no tendency
That she’s just a lone flower
Lacking itinerary
And life only gets rougher.

Challenges make you tough
But the experience makes it worthwhile.
You sneeze and you cough
But we just have to run life’s mile.

Now now…….
Do not mind my bantering
Sleepy eyes take their tow
And mindless talk entering.
