Missing Sun
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Missing Sun]
It became cloudy all of a sudden
The storm came over me and I knew I was lost
My heart blown, sought where I would be safe
So confused I was, I lost my love in the storm

I stood in the raging storm confused
Wishing I would be swept away too
The thunder roared, the wind whistled
I stood face to face with the flood, undaunted
Stuck to the ground like rock unwilling

I shivered in the piercing cold
Like an eagle combing everywhere in oversight
I sought warmth in the rain shedding tears unseen
Family and friends looked from afar, worried
Come in, we’ll look for it together when its over they say

Oh I will wait, wait in this storm
I will wait wait for the sun
I will wait for the smile the storm took
I will wait for the sun
Its you I await, my sun

This will not last long
In due time, the sun will shine
