Life's Vicissitudes
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Life’s Vicissitudes]
A quest for purpose and meaning
The colorful sunbeams of hope
The indecipherable and unattainable
A craving for companionship
The breeze of comfort

The bleakness of loneliness
The buffeting winds of hopelessness
The inability to assert an identity
The darkness of despair
The finality of death

In the end,
Man is no more than compost:
Dust in the wind

Very true and philosophical. Yet, life is an eternal flow. Very well written.
