Her Story
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Her Story]
Drowning in the streams of constant thoughts
She sat alone, together with her thoughts
On a slab near a lit dark street, in the dark of day
Posing healthy and sane but torn far away

She is the child tattered morrow
A run-away from lasting sorrow
Hear – her words are not twaddle
Learn from her maturing struggle

Love as real as fake, but for Baba’s sake
She drinks from this sorrowful lake
Endures pain she could not take
To tend babies she should yet not make

Jammed future was hers – certain end
Under the belly of her father’s friend!

Hmmnn…what a story. Fledgling prematurely put in the family way.

    Nicely penned, Sir.
