Read Time:1 Minute, 5 Second

Tonight is war
The Word war one
No intended pun
The battle line is drawn
On paper with ink
On canvas with oil
The war on imagination soil
Where the head refuses to think

I am standing on my side
My inspiration across the line
A million miles apart
How do I start?
The war on plains
Not aircraft or aeroplanes
But images with flat sight
A painting without hills

It is late at night
And the stars sleep
I am ready to fight
I just want to win
My passion rages like sea tides
The moonlight touches my sides
My hunger is like the infantry,
I cry like babies cry

I prepare to spill blood
From my abstract foes
In courage I charge
With my curved toes
And eyes so large
Very sensual feelings
In faith I draw my sword
A civil war begins

The war begins
Between two like seeds
Between my inspiration and I
As my pen touches the paper
The brush kisses the canvas
Genesis of a reckless charge
With feeble strokes and random words
A certain end is sure
For in every creative’s war
Whether in victory or loss
A piece of art is born.
