when loneliness
quenches my joy-flames
i will die for poetry
she gave me a choice
fulfilment
so many lessons she taught me
i like her shouting
i love her calm
all captured
with a pen and paper
she is my choice
never frowns at me
and forgives me when I confess
with open heart
listens to me
teaches me
inspires me
mothers me
she is faithful
to the end
