Indeed yesterday exists
yet only in our memories
Of a truth, memories shall someday fade
but sweet memories shall forever prevail
And of good times and hearty laughter
our hearts shall ponder
And of fun and past pleasure
we shall forever treasure

For indeed yesterday exists
yet only in our memories
as with thoughts of kisses and hugs
with smiles our face did lit
and for pleasures of yesterday
our hearts did yearn
And for the joys of yesterday
though we wished
the present yet remains a reality
and yesterday a history

So life teaches us yet another hard lesson
to part with what we cherish the most
and leave them in our yesterday
to enjoy the pleasures of the moment
and embrace with faith the mysterious gift of tomorrow
So, let’s accept the gift of today
and bid adios to the memories of yesterday
but yet ponder on what awaits us tomorrow
for the present remains a reality
and yesterday a history
