What If I Was Born You
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [What If I Was Born You]
What if I was born you?
Yes you!
With your eyes, nose and your skin
With your legs arms and might,
Would I have sought your life?

What if I was born you?
To your father and mother,
Into your tents, temple and upon your praying mat
Would I have sought your life?
Would I have drawn my sword?

Sword? Oh no, my gun
No, now bomb, strapped to my groin
And blow you up like you blow me now?
Would I have whisked you off
For your thought, tribe and belief?

Then, feed you with grief
Like you presently make me live?
