Once in a village, there was a little boy
And all he ever wanted was a little toy.
But to get the money, he had to work hard and bright.
So, he worked all day and worked all night.
It took hours of selling and money heaps.
Lots of work without a wink of sleep.
Then soon but soon a wonderful surprise:
the toy—a rattleshake—before his eyes.
It was carried by a tall smart-looking man;
The boy didn't have enough money to buy it. So, he devised a plan.
It was to sneak behind the man and grab the shake.
If anything went wrong, he would pretend it was a mistake.
So that's what he did, and he did not prevail.
He was in trouble and his dream had failed.
So, this is what happens when you steal someone's toy:
You might become a thief and have a life with no joy.
