Blindness, where
The mind sees more
Than the eyes could
But would not, cannot, may not.
The kind of death as
The cripple can’t crave
A party hall, or dance
The kind of dance
They dance these days
The kind of death in
Emotionless, not
Motionless, feeling no
Hate nor hurt nor worries
But love no mortal knows
The kind of death like
Armless, and
Harmless, not
Slapping nor stealing nor touching
Embracing a timeless truth
The kind of death as
The dumb neither
Blasphemes nor backbites
The kind of death like
The deaf listens
To celestial tunes
No, not that kind of death
By hanging, drowning, pills, bullet,
Hemlock, whatsoever
To live is
To die
The other kinds of death
