if I honour your incessant pleas?
Is it not pleasure and later pain
that thy venom lives to release?
You say it’s good, it’s sweet, it’s fun
and make it appealing for all to see
yet you shield the terror borne
of such unholy greeting completely.
Those who have tasted thy forbidden fruit
now lounge in the trouble you will
and through it they’ve found the truth
but pills wield no power after a kill.
To flee is what I know and what I’d do
and keep fleeing till I live my life through.
