It redefines life to my taste
She cleanses and purifies my soul
Let her free you of your grudges too
Poetry is light;
Foresight illuminating the dark
My heart was ‘heavied’ with hatred
But Poetry sanctified it.
My mind rumbled with unrest
But Poetry gives me rest
Poetry is peace;
She gives me solace!
