An awkward assembly, very sour to the chastity in Magdalene
A heart is drifting away from the reach of normalcy
On top this child’s heart
a pebble is liquefying
Tell it to the rants of the night
the soulful still that pampers the dark nights
O, in flames of self, I’m raging
a piece of mourning solo’s rocking
Alas! Look!
A man’s muscle melting in the rain
On top this baby heart, I sit
biting misplaced memories
to this day even
I still wrestle with ghosts of emotions
I exist as a man by name
the winds have flown
to the ribs of the dale
with my masculinity.
Prone, I see my heart
ajar to pricking pinches
embittered
worse than crude vinegar
On top this heart
decaying sighs inhabit
It’s mad here
