Confusion confounded the lover
Will this soon be over?
Patience to repay the eagerness
Yet time in its swiftness
Will not allow for all to be answered
In lovers piteous cry
Alas’ he screamed with grief
Never has he experienced relationship so brief
Amid the curse of solitude that befell him
He still hopes, within a hopeless dream
That he too will settle down
That a smile will formulate within a frown
With this proclamation: ”though my love is gone for now
I will wait for her. That is my vow!”
