Many Have Gone
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Many Have Gone]
Scores of living dead, mad men
Sitting on a dead man’s chair
All dead themselves
Of his passions and fears
Haven died mad himself
Of their strengths and weaknesses
Beware, many have gone!

Double edged, bushy, blissful path
Natural weed often cleared
An apple that tells
Many men’s end
Beware, many have gone!
Many more wait in line!
Her victims’ rank swells!

Beware, many have gone
Through this road to abyss
Notoriously known
Yet vigorously sought
Though at the right time
“It leads to paradise”
Fruit of love that warms the heart
