Tribute to late Adekunle Fajuyi

How should we keep from singing!
The praise of our hero past
He, for us did the dying,
That on us, fingers may not cast.

Very few, fewy few,
Could be like the son of man,
F.A.F did what most can’t do,
He is a true son of the son of man.

We remember you,
Not just for the loss,
But for the legacy you left us;
That we may forever bask in its effulgent hue.

Now you are far from home,
Surely, you home in God’s dome,
May it be that your star,
Shine on our paths its glare.

Your promise lives within us,
And when darkness falls,
We’ll remember to cling as one,
Your legacy shall always raise us to the sun.
