<p>The note <em>mi</em><br>
Brought out the song in me:<br>
A song of freedom<br>
For the sons of the kingdom<br>
Who live as slaves in their territory,<br>
And as refugees in their country!</p>
<p>The note <em>mi</em><br>
Brought out the song in me:<br>
A song of warning<br>
For the leader who is ruling,<br>
Who promised to make us better<br>
But is making us bitter.</p>
<p>The note <em>mi</em><br>
Brought out the song in me:<br>
A song for when we shall get hold of the sword<br>
And face the killers of our world.<br>
We know our destiny is in our hand<br>
And we shall take our stand…</p>
<p>In realization of reality<br>
But without brutality!</p>
<p>“No more”, we say to oppression<br>
And corruption!<br>
“No more” we say to bad leaders<br>
And thieving rulers!<br>
“No more” we say to suffering<br>
And crying!</p>
<p>This is my song for change<br>
For every man living in this age.</p>
