OUR TWO-FACED MESSIAH

Read Time:48 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Our Two-Faced Messiah]
He came as the holy messiah
His lips were coated in sugar
His voice was a metaphor of honeycombs
But we now know
He is an irony of destiny

He came to steal her wealth
Meagre leftovers of his fore-runners
He came to destroy her
With laughable wit, unorganized structures
He came to kill her
Yes, even her soul which was convalescing

See him raping her!
“Somebody, help!” she shouts
See him strangling her!
“Somebody, help!” she yells
See him plundering her!
“Somebody, help!” she laments

Ah, you all are watching him!
Even you, lion-hearted mouthpiece!
Are you yet mesmerised by his oratory
Or your hands are soiled
With the oil he stole from her breast?

Autocratic ego
Mean and malicious
Democratic mal-administrator
Don’t you know him?
Here is his name _____
