AFRICA: IN THE LIGHT OF GAGUT by Nnamdi Amasiatu

GAGUT – [God Almighty Grand Unified Theorem]

Africa, my motherland and my rest
My abode of homely deeds
Carrying and harboring your children in your chest
I am still yet to know thee

Shaking off the shackles of colonial darkness
With bright stars shinning your paths
As the new world of perpetual abundance
You stunned the world with forbidden acts

The white man looked and laughed at our silly nakedness
Of bribery, corruption, war and poverty
Africa walked back to darkness
Leaving behind our dreams of human ingenuity

Come this season of world growth God again in his infinite love and care
Dropped the keys of earth
Into the armpit of Africa

Unveiling Oyibo in the discovery of GAGUT Conquering the world with divine order
Proffering solution to all world’s vicissitude
A landslide in the world and its border

Thus, GAGUT struck out from Africa
The third world of the third world
As fear grips Asia, Europe and America
For it escaped their world

And you my Africa seem lost in pretence
Submerged in the euphoria of stupidity
Living in the corners of incompetence
Denying God’s gift of human eternity
Africa, my motherland and abode
Rouse yourself and give credence to GAGUT
Believing in the efficacy of the power of God
Our last hope and trust
