We are pleased to announce the editorial team for our magazine of collective knowing — CỌ́N-SCÌÒ, which will deliver the best of Nigerian poetry, art, fiction and non-fiction prose and photography bi-monthly.

The editors are:

THE EDITORIAL TEAM

MEET OUR EDITORS

EUGENE YAKUBU is a book critic, reviewer and storyteller. He loves art and nature; and spends his time reading beautiful novels and writing stories. He reviews Nigerian books for Authorpedia.


EHI-KOWOCHIO OGWIJI is a Nigerian creative writer whose writings examines womenfolk issues, mental health, and environmental realities. She blogs at www.eboquills.com where she shares her thoughts on writing and makes rooms for fellow writers to share their works. Her works have appeared on several literary platforms and she has won accolades for her writing.


JIDE BADMUS is an electrical engineer, a literary promoter and poet who hails from Omido,  Kwara State. He is the author of two poetry collections: There is a Storm in my Head (2017) and Scripture (2018). Some of his literary works appear in online journals: Dugwe, Kalahari Review, Dwarts Online, PIN etc. He lives and writes from Lagos


DAVID ISHAYA OSU is a poet, memoirist and street photographer. His work has appeared in Magma PoetryPoetry WalesThe Griffith ReviewThe Oxford Review of Books, among numerous others. He is the poetry editor of Panorama: The Journal of Intelligent Travel, and a board member of Babishai Poetry Foundation based in Uganda.



KUKOGHO IRUESIRI SAMSON is a communications professional, writer, publisher and entrepreneur. He is the Founder/CEO of Words Rhymes & Rhythm Ltd. and Authorpedia Publishers. Kukogho has authored four books – What Can Words Do?, I Said These Words, Words of Eros & We Who Sowed Hurt and Beaded. His literary accolades include the Dusty Manuscript Contest (2018), the 2017 ANA Prize for Fiction (First-Runner-Up),  the Nigerian Writers Award (NWA) for ‘Best Poet in Nigeria 2015’, and the Orange Crush 1st Prize for Poetry in 2012. He was also one of the 100 Most Influential Nigerian Writers Under 40 in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Abuja-based writer is also a Federal civil servant and youth mentor known for his work with young Nigerian writers and the promotion of Nigerian writing.
