 </div><p></p>Here are the judges of the ‘WRR-CAPRECON GREEN AUTHOR PRIZE’ for young, unpublished Nigerian poets.
<p>The GREEN AUTHOR PRIZE’, jointly sponsored by WORDS RHYMES &; RHYTHM LTD and CAPRECON DEVELOPMENT CONSULT, will be awarded to four Nigerian poets under the age of 24.</p>
<p>The Judges will choose awardees from four zones: NORTH, SOUTH EAST and WEST of Nigeria.</p>

<p><strong>OYIN OLUDIPE</strong> is a Nigerian poet, essayist, playwright, blogger and critic. He is the nonfiction editor of Expound and was a finalist for 2014 Eriata Oribhabor Poetry Prize Contest.</p>
<p>His works have appeared in publications like The New Black Magazine, Ehanom Review, Praxis Magazine for Arts and Literature, Ijagun Poetry Journal, Afapinen LitMag, The Kalahari Review, Kaanem Art Magazine, Kalamu Review, The Guardian and other national dailies.</p>
<p>He contributed to the anthology, “Black Communion: Poems of 100 New African Poets” with his poems, “Lafenwa” and “Camwood”.</p>
<p>Oludipe also instructs at the WRR College of Poetry.</p>

<p><strong>SU’EDDIE VERSHIMA AGEMA</strong> is the author of three poetry collections including Home Equals Holes: Tale of an Exile (Joint Prize Winner, Association of Nigerian Authors Prize for Poetry 2014); Bring our casket home: Tales one shouldn’t tell (longlisted for the Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry Prize 2013) and a short story collection, The Bottom of another Tale (shortlisted for the Association of Nigerian Authors Prose Prize 2014).</p>
<p>His poem, ‘Tales one shouldn’t tell often’ was shortlisted for the Saraba/PEN Nigeria Poetry Prize 2013. Su’eddie was included in EGC’s Top 50 Nigerian Contemporary Poets in 2013 and 2014.</p>
<p>He is the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors (Benue State Chapter), as well as Editor and Executive Officer at SEVHAGE Publishers. Su’eddie’s personal blog is http://sueddie.wordpress.com.</p>

<p><strong>SADDIQ DZUKOGI</strong> is a mentor at Hilltopart Centre and has published essays, poems, reviews, interviews in Nigerian national dailies, local and international Journals. Saddiq has served as a stringer for NTA Minna and previously worked with the Niger State Book Development Agency, where he served as a reporter/ photographer and event manager. He was three times the Chairman of the famous Ahmadu Bello University Creative Writers’ Club.</p>
<p>Saddiq is also a performance poet with a produced poetry CD; Minna Regalia. For three years (2004, 2006, 2007) he stood as the winner of poetry prize at the Annual Schools Carnival of Arts and Festival of Songs (ASCAFS) and was crowned the Most Valuable Contestant in 2007. He was the maiden winner of ANA/Mazarriya National teen poetry prize in 2006. His Poem “little Diamonds” was in 2010, A.B.U poem of the year, awarded by Creative Writers’ Club.</p>
<p>In 2012 his second poetry book; Canvas was the first runner-up for the ANA poetry Prize. And Sunbeams and Shadows, his latest collection of poems was shortlisted for the 2014 ANA poetry prize.</p>
<p>He has attended several workshops on creative writing including: ANA/Atiku Abubakar National workshop on children’s literature, Yola; 1st Northern Nigeria Writers Summit, held in Minna; MBA International literary Colloquium; ANA International Conventions, as well as International Colloquia on Soyinka and Achebe at Ife (2006) and Nsukka (2008), respectively.</p>

<p><strong>KUKOGHO IRUESIRI SAMSON </strong>is a Nigerian poet, multimedia journalist, photographer, sociopreneur and social media enthusiasts with extensive blogging experience.</p>
<p>He is CEO of WORDS RHYMES &; RHYTHM LTD which grew from a Facebook based social reorientation poetry platform to become Nigeria’s fastest growing publishing and educational institution company. Under his guidance, WRR established WRRPOETRY, Nigeria’s largest poetry sharing platform (www.poetry.wrr.ng) and COLLEGE OF POETRY, Nigeria’s only online poetry college (www.college.wrr.ng) as well as AUTHORPEDIA, Nigeria’s only author resource website (<a href="http://www.wrr.ng/authorpedia">www.wrr.ng/authorpedia</a>).</p>
<p>Kukogho has authored one collection of poems ‘WHAT CAN WORDS DO?’ but tends to share his writing via social media than the pages of printed books. His works have appeared on several websites, blogs and anthologies. He won the Orange Crush Prize for Poetry in 2012 and was named Nigerian Top Poet for the years 2013 and 2014 in the EGC rankings.</p>
<p>He has also initiated several projects, like the WRR #YouthENGAGE project, Brigitte Poirson Poetry Contest and the WRR-CAPRECON GREEN AUTHOR PRIZE, with the sole aim of promoting Nigerian writing, giving young Nigerian writers a voice, using literature for social advocacy and youth development.</p>
<p>He has also been a TEDx speaker and has been interviewed by several media outlets.</p>
<p>In his spare time, he takes photographs of the ordinary Lagos for his @CandidLAGOS project.</p>

<p><strong>BRIGITTE POIRSON</strong>’s secondary schooling was carried out at the Dole Ursulines in Franche-Comté. She then completed a course for the ENS, before graduating in languages from Dijon University and becoming a qualified high-school teacher for baccalauréat students in France. She occasionally engaged in part-time lecturing activities with her local Chamber of Commerce.</p>
<p>She devoted a few years to lecturing at High Wycombe College of Technology and Art, then at Plymouth and Exeter Universities (for degree courses ranging from civil engineering to maritime studies, Law or Sociology…) in England.</p>
<p>Back in France, she added becoming a prison visitor and a probation officer attached to the local court to her experience, both as a commitment and a way to sharpen her understanding of the social problems all educators face daily.</p>
<p>In terms of her writing, Brigitte Poirson’s publications range from poetry to theatre and fiction, composed in French and English, and published in Paris (éd St Germain-des-Prés), New-York and Britain. She has also contributed to numerous anthologies and magazines, has won many awards and has been a member of the Société des Gens de Lettres de France.</p>
<p>She currently devotes time to promoting African literature. She has founded and curated the Via Grapevine series published in South Africa with Phinithi Ntelekoa to encourage budding authors, and is a member of Words Rhymes &; Rhythm, Nigeria’s only online poetry college created by K.I.Samson. Among others, she also works in Nigeria as an editor for Expound magazine and the WRR-Caprecon Green Author Prize.</p>
<p>In France she regularly organises small literary workshops with young poets.</p>
<p>Her latest book, written with Tony Haynes, has just been published in the USA.</p>
