THEN WILL MY PEN CEASE

Read Time:1 Minute, 0 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Then Will My Pen Cease]
With my feather and inkwell I’ll express my state of mind
On my scrolls I’ll pen my bitterness towards mankind
Until respect and tolerance is shown to womankind
Ne’er will my feather wither, ne’er will my ink cease

Until that cruel man stops being a dictator
And to her, he’s actions are no longer a fear factor
Until he respects those beautiful creations of his creator
Then will my feather wither, then will my ink cease

Until her face radiates once more like the twinkling stars
And I take a closer look and find no trace of scars
Until those radiant smiles of her be no longer scarce
Then will my feather wither, then will my ink cease

Until cruelty and suchlike cease being a man’s vices
And his tender love and unconditional care for her suffices
And she be like a young hart upon the mountain of spices
Only then will my feather wither and then my ink cease.
