THE NEVER DYING SPIRIT

Read Time:48 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [The Never Dying Spirit]
I have what I seek within me
But what I must do remains hidden.
Yes, unleash my strength I must
And burst out I must, at all cost…

This life of mine, I don’t understand
Where am I, where do I stand?
I have remained here too long
Confusion has crippled my thought.

I know my destination
But there is no compass for navigation
Nor am I aware of my position
So I am lost in this world.

When do I start living?
My mind’s a messed up piece.
I can’t see beyond that turn
And I’m unsure of tomorrow’s sun.

So I live only for today;
Let the dawn bring another day
In which my fading hope may burn anew.
If that day fades, I’ll still eat Hope’s stew.
