THE JUDGEMENT DAY by Osoba Taiwo Peter

Read Time:50 Second

Then I saw a great white throne
And Him who sat on it,
At His sight alone
Every creature lost their wit.

Whose face the earth and heaven fled away
And there was found no place for them,
The great judgement day
When evil deeds shall be condemn.

And I saw the dead, small and great
Standing before the Almighty God,
And every creature await
To be condemn to hell or to heaven with applaud.

It will be a day of reckoning
When you stand before the judgement throne,
Won’t devil to you be beckoning
When your sins can no longer be atone?

A day of weeping untold
For those who refused to accept Jesus Christ,
Of their deeds that are cheaply sold
Of how they had murdered under tryst.

Put aside every sinful weight
Jesus is calling you today
Before it is too late
Before the judgement day.

I fell in love with poetry in the year 2014 because I see poets as geniuses who dive into peoples thoughts and imaginations and pen it down to inspire and to chastise.
