I once had those innocent babe’s eyes.<br>
Wonder what’s on that serene mind<br>
Even if I asked, it’d be the blind leading the blind.
<p>Man has always sought for immortality.<br>
Even to the extent of poking divinity.<br>
Alchemists dedicated everything in strive.<br>
Just to find the elixir of life.</p>
<p>But nature has a way of providing answers<br>
It makes it poetic, they come in stanzas.<br>
And I looked at that little face again.<br>
I could see it, it’s just plain.</p>
