THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY by Oluwatobi Israel Akinbode

Read Time:40 Second

A blessing from the gods,
Her strength incomparable,
Divinely grafted by gifted hands,
The fallen bottle yet unbroken.

A tool not to a fool,
A robot doing every task,
Useful in all ways,
The fallen bottle yet unbroken.

A gold in our eyes,
A drop of water to thousand tongues,
A blessing became a necessity,
The fallen bottle yet unbroken.

Every hand caressed her skin,
Every man married her,
A bottle to many souls,
The gods must be crazy.

Our land breed sorrowful weeds,
Weeds of envy, thorns of pain,
Why let that rain fall,
Just a drop to share.

The gods must be crazy,
A bottle to many souls,
Why let the rain fall,
Just a drop to share.
