Mister, against your missis, eh?<br>
Why have your clouds picked her visage<br>
To rain, blindly, slaps and punches?
<p>Hmm! Of cigarette and liquor,<br>
Your heavy breath steadily reeks;<br>
Observing the eyes of your head,<br>
No glint of courtesy appears!</p>
<p>Has she metamorphosed at sight<br>
Into a cow your whips cherish?<br>
At squabble’s call, you are summoned-<br>
Being the bruiser she marries.</p>
<p>Monster!<br>
I’ll make sure you see Prison’s teeth<br>
From its inside- locked in its mouth!<br>
Your busted self shall rot in jail;<br>
Your moulded fist will melt to plead-</p>

Then shall your scruples be tuned in<br>
To deprecate the maltreating<br>

 <div class="be-author-meta be-author-description">Ukpanyang Kingsley Ayi alias "Ayistar" is a 500 Level medical student of the prestigious University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. Born in the early 90s, he hails from Odukpani Local Government area of Cross River State. He is a Christian, a lover of words and writes for edification and motivation. He believes that "Talents and Gifts are tools for building our God-given dreams into reality." Though without an award yet, his works has been published in several poetry anthologies like Via Grapevine II, Epistle of Lies etc, and other poetry sites online.</div>
