KINDNESS KNOWS NO TRIBE

You waved to me with teary eye
But I could not come so fast,
Though you still stood by
In lack of what I amassed.

I could not come so fast;
My legs dragged for fear.
Challenging factors I had to cast,
Else they’d stop me getting here.

My legs dragged for fear;
What might be my fate
If I failed to offer my share,
Of Life’s wondrous bake?

What might be my fate;
Should neighbors walk by?
If entrapped with life’s bait,
How will I survive?

Should neighbors walk by,
My heart might rend from painful cries.
So my kindness gives; it knows no tribe.
You waved to me with teary eye.
