IMPOSING POSITIVITY

Read Time:1 Minute, 3 Second
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Imposing Positivity]

See us looking gentle
Like men getting faint
Our life is all of a stammer
In a non-existent tomorrow

We are guilty
Of sins we have not committed
The mouths our voices hide
Are darlings of the Big Brothers

We abide in deceptive unity
The demise of One Voice in a passing wind
When the visitor leaves the house
The light goes out

We can feel ourselves as the moon
Our anguish longing for warmth in silence
Behold!
We have what we cannot hold

The managers smile on each screen
Each voice a chameleon-laughter
As if we never fought war
As if the war has ended

Tomorrow, we will celebrate freedom
Like a party under the fluorescent of a dark cloud
Dancing to the song we never comprehend
With colourless banners trembling in wind, naked!

Positivity imposed on us
We cannot talk and we never talked
We gag our mouths with our hearts
And kill our neighbours with foreign words

We are all ghosts with souls
The end seems to be far to us
The earth, temporary, covers our home
And we live like one who has death in his pocket
