I WAITED FOR YOU by Gideon Abowha

Read Time:33 Second

I waited for you

For the remaining years of my life
It has poured rain and yet stopped
The constellation has emanated and disappeared
The sun has set and went to rest.

My thoughts traveled to the land beyond
My perception incassarated by my hope
I used to wear a necklace pity
To the potholes of this very life I have drizzled
My window was no longer helpful for I
Where will you appear?

The ground has swallowed you
I still mourn for you

I shall write a petition to haven
I lost you.
