I AM ME

Read Time:41 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [I Am Me]
As the tail of my pen kisses the face of my note,
Let my words be published, even in the heavens.

I am who I am, no matter what you see now
I am not just a star, I am the brightest one.

Though for now, I daily shed salty waters
And I am nothing according to my status quo

I am still me, come rain, come sunshine,
The weathers that come with life do little to stars.

In the moon’s absence, through dark clouds will my light appear
A day to come, my soul will sing the anthem of victory

I am who the father says I am
I am me!
