<p>We walk in files to the work field<br>
Guarded by armed morons,<br>
With eager, blade mouthed whips</p>
<p>Oh! We cry and take our fate,<br>
Hoping Freedom shall be our grace<br>

An offspring was born<br>
From the house of the weakest;<br>
A man shining like the sun<!--more--></p>
<p>He grew in strength, might and fear<br>
And even the predators feared him</p>
<p>Though our tries were not enough,<br>
He brought us the victor’s trophy;<br>
Freedom, the spirit of our nation</p>
<p>The Savior came to grace us glory<br>
He stood and fought his way out<br>

Hmmm! Our hope is up, standing;<br>
This is our story of Freedom<br>
For the light dimmer has been silenced!</p>
