 </div><p></p>And so I thought of giving up,
<p>Having gained little from my effort.</p>
<p>Courage did less to make me up,</p>
<p>All I felt like was as an isolated maggot.</p>
<p>The present waged war against the future,</p>
<p>And it had nothing good from the past.</p>
<p>Internal war is one of the crisis of nature;</p>
<p>So I contended with a resolve to be ardent;</p>
<p>Ardent about my singular desire to win.</p>
<p>Victory was in no means near my struggles</p>
<p>And defeat was pushing me to give in.</p>
<p>Alone I was left with my thoughts to battle</p>
<p>As boredom became a reliable buddy.</p>
<p>The clever birds whistled little by little,</p>
<p>In a fabulous effort to make me merry.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Soon there was a beep from my phone.</p>
<p>I was very indifferent to check through…</p>
<p>Asap came another ring from my phone</p>
<p>My defiant nature found a breakthrough.</p>
<p>It was a text of desire and admiration</p>
<p>A text of love and that of commendation.</p>
<p>An invaluable call for a role model</p>
<p>I soon retired to my room in the hotel</p>
<p>To give another shape to my worries.</p>
<p>Where I saw weakness, they saw strength;</p>
<p>Where I lost belief, they gathered faith.</p>
<p>I lost route, and they followed confidently</p>
<p>I stood to speak and they listened raptly.</p>
<p>Willing to be a subject but they said leader;</p>
<p>Scared of fame, but they pushed me farther</p>
<p>They gave credence to my dying hope</p>
<p>So that I can eventually cope.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I kneel before you Lord to pray;</p>
<p>But I found nothing to say.</p>
<p>Words are myriads but prove costly</p>
<p>So what to say, I chose carefully.</p>
<p>Forgive me for disbelieving myself</p>
<p>And make me industrious as Jean wyclef.</p>
<p>What a colossal irony that seems to be,</p>
<p>But I reserve the decision to you exclusively.</p>
<p>Doubt had made me notorious to slack</p>
<p>But this faith has taken away my lack.</p>
<p>I’ve regained self belief, a worthy note!</p>
<p>I’ve found my confidence, a worthy note!</p>
<p>I’m a made role model, a worthy note!</p>
<p>I’ll live for the truth, a very worthy note!</p>
<p>I’ll crusade for love, peace and the truth</p>
<p>My past is laid to rest; I’m in total health.</p>
