YOUTHFUL DREAMS: by Ogoluwa Simon Ojewale

Read Time:37 Second

He’s just a teenager
A kid from down the block
Might put himself in danger
If he stays from the flock

He needs to take it slow
There’s still plenty of time
Someday his star will glow
But exposure might lead him to crime

They say I should face my studies
While the future awaits its holder
And only move with my buddies
Cos I’ll meet the pros when I’m older
But I say the time is now
For our today was yesterday’s tomorrow
So do we wait and allow
Our dreams to wallow in sorrow

Know the reason you were born
Bring your dreams to reality
Take the bull by the horn
And work on your ability
