like indian rubber balls.
<p>Floating in the wind,<br>
are wantonly whispered words<br>
on destinationless journeys,<br>
whirling with the wind.</p>
<p>Floating in the wind,<br>
are words of promises<br>
now worth less<br>
than a 5 naira note.</p>
<p>Floating in the wind,<br>
are words of goodbyes,<br>
said with tearful eyes<br>
to dead or dying ears.</p>
<p>Floating in the wind,<br>
will be these words,<br>
muttered underneath your breath,<br>
as you read this poem.</p>
