From the dark dungeon full of dung,<br>
You drew me out with your arm so strong.</p>
<p>Deep down in the deep,<br>
I lay hapless and hopeless.<br>
Emptiness was all there was to see.<br>
Tormented about a future held in trepidation,<br>
I let out my groan in great desolation.</p>
<p>That was until you showed up<br>
Flashing upon my darkest night<br>
Your luminous rays so bright,<br>
Like those of the dazzling full moon.<br>
But what is that compared to you my Light?</p>
<p>Before you, death’s embrace<br>
Disappears into fine thin<br>
Just as mist gives way<br>
In the face of sunrise.</p>
<p>Now in the clasp of your soothing fold,<br>
I let out sigh in great relieve.<br>
Like one whose long thirst is quenched from a fount<br>
You had my empty golf filled.</p>
<p>Oh! How much I revel this moment!<br>
I am completely drenched in your abundance.<br>
My dints and stinks your mercy have cleansed<br>
Leaving me a clean slate reflecting your radiance.</p>
<p>I am crazing in thankfulness,<br>
Tipsy with it like a drunk.<br>
Having drank out of your fullness,<br>
I am forever your own.</p>
