WE TILL THE SOIL

Read Time:1 Minute, 1 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [We Till The Soil]
It is dawn again, for clearing.
At noon we go to rest,
By dusk we wait on tears.
It is time we till the soil.

The wind will sing a song,
The grasses will smile and dance,
And the rivers will flow and roll.
It is time we till the soil.

As the sun comes along,
The hoes are greased and readied.
The rains are here again.
It is time we till the soil.

On bended back with sweats,
Papa must lay the seeds.
The farm is our only wealth.
It is time we till the soil.

In hunger we must go,
Our body may seems to be a frame.
Our tears and sweats will marry
For it is time we till the soil.

Our hands will be covered with blisters,
Our skins will call on the sun,
Yet we will strive to finish.
For it is time we till the soil.

Our lives depend on the soil:
Even if it gives us boils,
We will go and go again.
We will live to till the soil.
