 </div><p></p>we are all born<br>
unto this barren earth<br>
to live, and let live<br>
and then leave<br>
by being buried<br>
to fertilize the soils<br>
that make the graveyards<br>
an abode for trees<br>
to grow and glow in greens…<br>
and these trees are metaphors<br>
for an earth…inhabitable<br>
by we…the leaves<br>
as we are the leaves<br>
living along the branches…our homes<br>
and as we glow,<br>
and grow out of our pigments…our skins<br>
and fall, and die<br>
so do we leave our homes<br>
to lace the earth with our bodies…<br>
but the trees<br>
will ever remain the same<br>
as we come by birth,<br>
and grow, and go by death<br>
but these trees can be fallen<br>
by our hands…weapons and cuts<br>
that destroy our branches…homes<br>
in forms of wars<br>
and all that accompanies,<br>
so as the earth is befallen<br>
of its hospitable reputation<br>
among other planets<br>
by our ways…whims…wars…woes<br>
against the wishes of the trees<br>
to remain in the future<br>
as a story of the pasts…<br>
a story to be told<br>
of how we come and go.
