TO BE GOOD (a poem by El Sane Ken Silencer)

Read Time:24 Second
I killed myself,
Trying to give life;
I gave out my heart
Thinking the world as 'twas-
Twas a place- palace
Every head wore crown
Happiness in every face
No body move in pretense.
I give him to bring back
With heart full of love
Thinking for his goodness
Cleansed him tears that burn chins
Without thinking of the safety
Of my hand, I did for him
What a human would do
For a human and saved his chin...
But in lieu of coining gilded
He chose a bitter etch.
