THE PROUD AGRICULTURIST

Read Time:48 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [The Proud Agriculturist]
Many say I am just a farmer
Some call me a bushman
Others say I am a gardener
They go as far as calling me a poor man

I smile in simplicity
Waiting for the time of scarcity
When they will run from the city
Down to the me, same me they call nonentity

Many will starve and die
While I laugh and smile
My pocket filled beyond sigh
Then buy the Nile

I will tell the world:
Though I am not a dentist
Nor a pharmacist
I remain a proud agriculturist
Yet better than they who claim to be sophists
