THE ACT OF WAR

I saw the bomb coming.

On their bellies they start crawling
Watching them all
“Look, they’re all dying,” I said
“Help!.. Help..!”
Nobody cares

Nobody was blessed
Death came at its best, slayed!

A child laid on the floor
He is praying
Mothers and daughters were murdered
“Kill him, he is still alive,”
So the gunman fired

Tears filled my dark eyes
Gunmen fired their guns
To what gain?
At what price?
