I am thrilled and mesmerised,<br>
When she is gone I am mortified,<br>
I long for a smile, a look in return,<br>
With longing, my pent-up passions burn.
<p>She came by same time today,<br>
As usual she took my breath away,<br>
My wide open eyes just had to stay,<br>
On this incredibly lovely display,<br>
Oh, I beg you, my secret friend,<br>
Bring my longing to an end.</p>
<p>See me waiting in the shade,<br>
Wanting to speak but too afraid,<br>
Look my way, notice me,<br>
Standing under the leafy tree,<br>
How I wish I could catch your eye,<br>
If only I were not so shy.</p>
