SHE HAS LOST BEAUTY

Read Time:38 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [She Has Lost Beauty]
She lost her beauty out of ignorance
Ah! Her penchant for lust crumbled her past
While in her season of pride and radiance
Her skin she westernized – like an outcast

Many men of destiny came her way
Greed for all that glitters wore her a veil
Fast money, fast cars, her indulgence pays
Drunk in deceit, her fortune became frail

Nonchalantly, she strangled all valued love
Till she became men’s public lavatory
As silent as thought, God watched above
Posterity would tell of her mystery

Her life is empty… true love she bleeds for
But her matrimonial home speaks horror…
